Jeep Wrangler Rear Door Wont Open

I recently replaced the actuator on the rear passenger door on my 2000 jeep grand cherokee 4 x 4.

Jeep wrangler rear door wont open. I had to cut the door striker to remove the door and latch. The switch is dead. If we screw up the window right now winter trying to open it up it won t be a good thing. I am not sure if the child lock is on or not.

My friends explorers drivers door also was like that and a friend of his took the door panel off that didnt work so he some how unbolted the stricker post that the door latches to i wasnt there so i don t know how he did this and was able to open it that way put the post back on then put a new handle on. Recently my jeep tj wrangler door latch jammed stuck. Later in the day i go to unlock. This morning it did not want to latch when i shut it.

Here s my simple way to make an emergency gate release for the jeep jk jku. Jeep door won t open from inside or outside door handle. Pull and switched the fuse for power locks already. Also the proximity unlock does not work on this door.

My buddy s 2013 jku rear door will not open. I can lock and unlock the door with the remote or the passenger door but not the driver door. I ve got an 08 jeep wrangler rhd. I tried to take off the inner panel from inside.

The electronics work windows locks. It needs be re attached. What do i do about getting it open. The lock worked fine re installed the interior part of the door checked again and it was working.

The lever came loose. He removed the panel and inside there is another panel but he has not removed it since it s more complicated with the glass attached to it. I moved the latch a few times with my hand and then it did latch. When i open my door it doesnt recognize it s open.
